There’s the clutter on your work desk. The clutter of last night’s pizza party. The clutter your teen hasn’t cleaned up in their room yet, even though you’ve been asking them daily for the past three years.
Then there’s this Supercollider Clutter. Each piece of this strewn-around junk was designed by a Ph.D, custom-machined by robots, and probably cost more than the annual operating budget for Rhode Island. But it still doesn’t belong where it is. It belongs in a storage room, or a dumpster, or possibly buried in a salt mine for the next ten thousand years. Hop to it!
